What should I expect during the session?
Reiki practitioner will sit down with you, and they will offer you some tea/ water and have a 10- 15 minutes chat to you before the session starts and may take some notes.
During a reiki session the recipient will be laying down fully clothed (comfortable clothing is a must). The reiki practitioner will place hands gently over the recipient’s body, or just above the body. The practitioner will typically change the positioning of their hands several times as the treatment progresses. You may feel some heat or coolness, tingling, a slight zap or simply just feel relaxed. Some recipients may see colours or visuals. Some recipients may not see or feel anything everyone's experience is different, but rest assure that whether you feel it or not the reiki goes where it needs to go, and you will feel a sense of relaxation, lighter and calmer.
After the session the practitioner will let you know when the session is over the practitioner will ask you to lay there until you are ready to get up.
